Clay Pigeon Shooting Courses
|
|
In the same way most people can learn the controls of a car in a few lessons, learning how to
shoot also takes only a few lessons. But as we all know, passing the driving test involves much more
than simply learning a few controls - and the same is true with shooting. Don't panic, contrary to
popular belief, it is not necessary to pass a test to be a Shotgun Certificate (SGC) holder. However,
taking a shooting course is probably the most efficient; and safe, way to become proficient in the
handling of a shotgun in a safe and responsible manner. |

When it comes to safety, common sense plays a big part in keeping you and others
safe!
- Never leave a shotgun or cartridges unattended - a legal requirement!
- Never pass a loaded shotgun to a third party - it is 'never' justifiable!
- Never carry a loaded shotgun - even if it is broken!
- Remember the carpenters mantra; measure twice cut once!,
Keep an eye out for the innocent bystander - look twice, shoot once!
- Never point a shotgun at anything you do not 'Intend' to destroy
Remember, Good shooting is No Accident!
|
| Our experience suggests many people can become reasonably proficient with a shotgun
in around xx hours. But what if you wanted to become a wildfowler, or
perhaps shoot in the Olympics - either will take years of practice, and involve more than just
learning to control a shotgun safely. |

| Courses are pre-paid; and therefore discounted, at the time of booking, so they also
represent a good way to save money - the longer the course, the better the saving! For the best
discounts, learn to shoot with a small group of friends. Call for details! |
