The importance of clay pigeon shooting traps is often overlooked. "Its just a bit
of kit for throwing lumps of dried clay, isn't it?" Hmm! Well, Yes - it is!. However, the following
also need to be considered:
-
Controllability
-
Accuracy
-
Power
-
Speed
-
Reliability
All these points are very important for a shooting school - as they are for
specific shooting disciplines, and in formalised sport environments e.g. Olympics, Commonwealth Games.
How else can we be certain of delivering clay pigeon targets at the correct angles and speed!
Our shooting traps are of the highest quality, are supplied with mains electricity,
and are mounted on solid concrete bases to ensure stability. This enables us to deliver
targets to
Olympic standards, and for various other disciplines e.g. Sporting, FITSAC, Skeet, Olympic
Skeet, and Ball Trap.
All traps are remotely controlled by your shooting coach, who is able; at the press of a button, to deliver clay targets which are ideal for the
novice shooter, or challenging enough for the most experienced e.g.
rabbit, high pheasant, fast and low grouse, and rocketing teal, can all be simulated; as can
single, double, and crossing flight lines. Floodlighting enables shooting
of Skeet and ABT to continue in poor weather or poor lighting conditions.
