Barrow Hill Challenge

As you are aware we are all members of Colchester Wildfowling & Conservation Club. The club has purchased a marsh at Barrow Hill on Mersea Island, with the help of a loan from the Wildlife Habitat Trust and is running many fund-raising events to pay off this loan.

We are doing our bit by presenting the 'Barrow Hill Challenge'. All you have to do is shoot a 9 target course straight and you win a bottle of champagne. It will cost you £5, all of which will be donated to the fund.

Rules & Regulations:-

1. The Challenge is open to clients as part of an ordinary lesson.
2. Each participant will see each target once only before attempting to shoot it.
3. The targets will be shot in a predetermined order i.e. (12345HLRb/t).
4. Only one shot is permitted at each target.
5. All results will be recorded and displayed in the shooting lodge.
6. A participant will not be coached on the targets prior to their attempt.
7. The Challenge is not open to Essex Shooting School staff.
8. No further entries will be taken from a successful Challenger.
9. The Champagne is in the fridge and can be drooled over.
