Whatever your level of experience, the essex shooting school will ensure your shooting instructor or coach is appropriate to your level of ability. We can also promise you are unlikely to leave us without feeling confident with your achievement on the day; first time shooters will find that during their first shooting lesson, they can actually hit a moving target; the more experienced shooter is likely to discover that never hit target is finally tamed and brought to ground - perhaps this is why the majority of our clients are repeat visitors, people returning after a corporate event, or recommended by satisfied clients.

Most novices; especially young shots and the ladies, are often concerned about shotgun recoil - but please do not worry, we have various shotgun and cartridge weights available at the shooting school, which enable us to provide a wide combination of options suitable for your specific requirements.

With regard clothing; just wear whatever is suitable for the prevailing weather conditions on the day; Unlike several other shooting schools and training grounds, Wellington boots are not required in wet weather as all accessible areas of the shooting school grounds have adequate paths. Ear and Eye protection is provided, and flat caps are available for those who forget to bring their own head protection.

Although most of our personal clients have individualised one-to-one shooting tuition, the shooting school can also provide shooting lessons for Father/Son, Mother/daughter, or small family groups; and at very favourable prices; see school fees. The shooting school are also able to provide Fly Fishing tuition over our well stocked trout lake, and many clients tell us the combination of clay pigeon shooting and fishing available at the Essex shooting school, provides an excellent alternative birthday present for the novice or experienced shooter, whether young or old, and irrespective of gender - our young shot days, and ladies only days, are extremely popular events.

Shooting lessons and fly-fishing lessons make tremendous executive gifts whether singularly or as part of a corporate entertainment event - when combined together, they result in a very special day.
